These Terms are legally binding agreements between us. By registering as a student on our website https://woodbridge-hs.net and all related sites or apps, including but not limited to the LMS such as Canvas LMS or Schoology, referred hereafter as the “Site”, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

We may change these Terms from time to time. If we do, any changes will be effective immediately. We will take reasonable steps to inform you about any changes, either by a notice on the Site or emailing you. If you keep using the Services after a change, that means you accept the new terms.
In these Terms, the words “Site”, “Woodbridge Academy”, “we,”, “our” or “us” means Woodbridge Academy, including our directors, staff, employees, and affiliates.
2. Student Registration / Creating an Account
Enrollment – a parent, can sign up on the Site, create profiles for their children, and then purchase subscriptions on behalf of their children. The parent also gains access to the online classroom and other services through this process.

The Student Observer gives the third party access to insight and information on the student’s learning progress via dashboards and reports. By using the Student Observer, you explicitly agree to grant a selected person access to your personal information. You understand and agree that this is entirely at your own risk. We do not accept liability in this regard (including if you provide access to the incorrect person). The Terms (including our Privacy Policy) and our limitation of liability specifically apply to your use of the Student Observer.
To use the Services, you must register as a student on the Site https://woodbridge-hs.net. You will be required to provide the following information:
- Full names;
- Cell Phone Number;
- Email address;
- Password (your password must be at least eight characters long).
A confirmation email will be sent with a link to confirm your account. Click on the link in the email that says, “Create my account”. Once your email address has been confirmed, you will be registered as a student on the Site.
All students gain access to the content and can start their courses immediately. However, if the tuition payments have not been submitted, all work can not be graded until the payments have been received. Woodbridge Academy only honors payments made through our website https://spanish.woodbridge-hs.net/pagos/. Woodbridge Academy will not honor payments made through any other account or person.
The information you provide must be accurate and complete. You may not impersonate anyone else or choose names that are offensive or violate anyone’s rights. If you don’t follow these rules, we may cancel your account. You must safeguard your password and supervise the use of your account. Every person must register their own account, and you are not entitled to permit anyone other than you to use it. We assume that anyone using the Site or transacting through your account is you. You agree that you are solely responsible for any activity that occurs under your account. If you find out someone has used your account without your permission, you should report it to support@woodbridge-hs.net immediately.
By registering as a student and using the Services, you confirm that you have the consent of your parent or legal guardian (where necessary) to do so, which includes the obligation to make payments for such Services.

3. Fees and Payment
Woodbridge Academy charges a flat payment to all enrolled students as follows:
- USD 70.00 as enrollment tuition. This payment is due upon enrollment.
- USD 360.00 for tutoring and administrative services. This payment is due on or before March 30th of the current Academic Year.
- The tutoring and administrative payment must be made every time the student passes one grade, even when students advance more than one grade during the academic year.

Woodbridge Academy offers apostille services for those students living outside the USA. This service is only needed when you graduate from High School or are transferring back to your home country. The charges are the following:
- USD 150.00 for students living in Guatemala
- USD 210.00 for students living in any other country except the USA.
This payment includes the FedEx delivery to your home country. Students living in the USA do not need to apostille stamp their transcripts or diplomas.
However, being Woodbridge Academy, a subsidiary of Instituto Superior de Educacion Abierta -ISEA- any student may want to enroll in the Dual-Diploma Program, which awards a second accredited transcript or High School diploma from ISEA. This program is free of charge for Woodbridge Academy students, but you will have to earn a minimum of eight credits from ISEA as follows:
- English ESL or ELA 4 credits.
- These credits can be earned by having at least a B2 English Level, according to the Common European Framework of Reference CEFR.
- Mathematics 4 credits.
- These credits can be taken in English or Spanish, as ISEA offers English or Spanish programs.

- Enrolling at Woodbridge Academy via a third-party network of affiliates is possible. You can find our affiliates list on this page: https://woodbridge-hs.net/partners/.
- It is important to note that these affiliates are independent contractors and are not employees or representatives of Woodbridge Academy.
- Should you enroll from a third party and we do not receive payment for any reason, your account will be suspended, and we will not incur any liability in this regard. In such a case, you will need to take this up directly with the affiliate you enrolled in.
Our prices are based on US Dollars. Currency conversions are handled by your bank and calculated at the time of your payment if made in any other currency.
Our tuition fees include access to our platform and other resources available inside our LMS. (Learning Management System).
4. Cancellation Policy
We reserve the right to cancel your enrollment and access to our services if you breach any of our terms (within our sole discretion) or if we do not receive payment. Should you wish to cancel your enrollment, we reserve our right to charge a reasonable cancellation fee, which will be levied at our sole discretion. As a guideline, the following penalties may be levied:
If you cancel:
- Within five days of enrolling – a full refund is given, less the transaction fee;
- After five days and up until 30 days of enrolling – you will receive up to 50% of whatever amount paid.
- After 30 days of enrolling no payment will be reimbursed.
- Refunds can take up to 5 working days to be processed.
5. Courses
Woodbridge Academy is a private, Christian, non-denominational school registered with the State of California. Each parent or student is responsible when choosing which grade to enroll in. To do so, you may present a valid transcript issued within the USA or outside that shows what grades and courses the student have taken before enrolling in Woodbridge Academy.
If you do not have a valid transcript, you may submit a letter explaining why you do not have one and enroll your student in the grade according to their age or the grade you think your child is better suited for. You may also ask for a personal interview with any of our representatives using the Student Services app to decide which grade to enroll in.
It is the Parent’s and student’s responsibility to do the necessary research to ensure that the student has met the minimum requirements for university entrance and their university of choice as wells as the validity of these studies in their home country.
6. Assignments
Our teachers create assignments and grade them. Assignments are available on the LMS. Grading of an assignment usually takes place within seven working days from the date the completed assignment is uploaded. However, this time period is an estimate only and depends on the volume of assignments submitted.
Students must complete their own assignments independently as instructed (i.e., time and resources allowances) and without assistance from parents/friends/students / unauthorized resources (including online search engines). We rely on the students and parents to act in good faith in this regard. Suppose it is found that any student has breached any of the above conditions or assisted someone else. In that case, the student(s) in question may be expelled from Woodbridge Academy without a refund.
7. Assessments
Each course comprises content that needs to be covered by the student and assignments that are basically projects or works that the students have to submit using any software or text documents according to the instructions in the LMS. Besides, some assessments cover certain parts of the course. Assessments are graded immediately by the LMS and serve various purposes, such as ensuring the student has read the contents or is ready to move on to the next lesson. Each parent or student is responsible for deciding when the student is ready to take those assessments. Sometimes, with the help of the tutors, assessments can substitute an assignment or vice-versa.
Students graduating from High School must comply with the A-G requirements from the University of California System.
8. Online Chat and Live Lessons
Online chat allows students to chat with their teachers and ask questions. This service is available Monday to Friday, during office hours, 10 am-6 pm PCT (Pacific Standard Time) (subject to the availability of the teachers). The students may ask work-related questions, and Woodbridge Academy will endeavor to respond within 24 hours. Teachers may reply via text, voice notes, or videos. We accept no liability should a teacher fail to respond to any question.
Live Group Sessions (or Q&As) – these take place weekly via an online video conference platform and allow up to 50 students to tune into a session with their teacher to ask questions on the subject. Students may be able to see each other and hear one another’s questions. By accessing the live group session (or Q&A), you consent to your personal information being used for this purpose.
Live Lessons are provided ad hoc and solely within our discretion. Teachers present a lesson on a specific topic, via an online video platform, to an unlimited number of attendees from around the world. Only the teacher is visible. These sessions may be recorded and used later (e.g., uploaded to the LMS as additional content).
Please note that these above sessions/lessons/online chats are optional, and we do not accept any liability should you not be able to access or participate in them.
The views, thoughts, and opinions expressed by the teachers belong solely to the teacher and do not necessarily reflect the view of Woodbridge Academy. We do not accept any liability for any comments, opinions, or views expressed by the teachers at any time.
